Hanes Park Classic 5k & Family Fun Run Events The 5k course will be USATF Certified and is a 2+ lap loop around Hanes Park (approximately 1.25miles each). Race time for 5k run will begin promptly at 8:05am. Runners will begin on Northwest Blvd. and run clockwise around Hanes Park, passing through the finish line two times before finishing on the third lap. Splits will be given every mile. Two aid stations will be located on the course. The Family Run Course will be 1 mile around Hanes Park and will utilize the same finish line as the 5k. Race time for the Family Fun Run will begin promptly at 8:05am. Both Courses will be closed to traffic. Hanes Park Classic 5k & Family Fun Run Registration Hanes Park Classic 5k Fees $15 for Individuals or $25 for a family through August 1, 2008 $20 for Individuals and $30 for a family after August 1, 2008. Family 1 Mile Run: There is no charge for participants in the Fleet Feet Sports 1 Mile Family Fun Run Registration is available on-line at until August 1, 2008 at 9:00pm: Race Day Registration will begin at 7:00am at the race site (near the finish line). Race Applications and payments may also be dropped off or mailed to Fleet Feet Sports no later than August 2nd

Hanes Park Classic 5k Prizes Awards for the top 3 finishers of the 5k in each of the following categories: · Men Overall · Women Overall · Family Competition (Families must finish together) · Jogging Stroller Division · Physically Challenged Division *There will be special awards drawings for Family Fun Run participants *Award Presentation and door prize drawings will be held immediately following the race. Awards for the running events will not be mailed. A family member must be present to receive a door prize.
