CycleSafe.org is partnering up with the Piedmont Flyers to sponsor a summer bicycle give away to help needy children. Please bring new or used bikes to the Hanes Park Classic, Sunday August 3, 2008. All donors will receive a tax donation receipt.

HANES PARK CLASSIC 5K Run |

The first of its kind in Winston-Salem. A USATF certified 5K three lap run around Hanes Park. The proceeds of this event will go to CycleSafe.Org’s Education Program. All ages are welcome. $15/Individuals or $25/Family through August 1 Or $20/Individual or $30/Family after August 1st. We have a lot of great family driven Prize Categories ….check back for further details. In the meantime, get those running shoes on!! |

Come on Kids, Get Ready Ride in the Kids Bike Race. All Kids, All Ages and All abilities are encouraged to participate in the Kids’ Bike Race. The course is the same course the Professional Bike Racers will be using!! All Kids MUST register for this event! DON’T FORGET YOUR HELMET! |

Any one who is more experienced with cycling is invited and encouraged to join fellow cyclists for a leisurely 50 Mile Ride Wine Tour ride. The Ride will leave from the Start/Finsih line at the Hanes Park Classic and travel through some of North Carolina’s beautiful Wine Country. All participants must register for this event.
